Terms of Use

Terms of use for the TeoMind app and the TeoMind Premium subscription.

1. Scope

These terms apply to the TeoMind app for iOS and iPadOS (the “App”) and the TeoMind Premium subscription. The App is distributed through the App Store, and Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies. Where these terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the provision more favourable to the consumer applies.

2. Using the App

The App is for the personal, non-commercial use of families and children. No account is required. We recommend that children use the App with an adult’s knowledge. The App is a learning and play product; it is not an IQ test, a clinical assessment, a therapy or a diagnostic tool, and it does not replace a professional assessment.

3. TeoMind Premium subscription

  • TeoMind Premium is a yearly, auto-renewing subscription. The price is shown in the App Store for your country before you buy.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel the subscription in iPhone/iPad Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, or through Parent Area › Settings › “Manage subscription” in the App. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of it is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Refunds are subject to Apple’s policies and are requested at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Purchases can only be made from screens behind the parent lock. Ask to Buy is supported.

4. Free version

The free version includes three worlds, a daily adventure of three games and the overview and skills sections of the Parent Area. What is free and what is Premium may develop over time.

5. Intellectual property

The games, characters (including Teo), images, sounds and texts in the App belong to TeoMind or its licensors. Third-party licences are listed on the Imprint & licences page.

6. Liability

We build and test the App with care but cannot guarantee that it will run without interruption or error. Liability that cannot be limited by law remains unaffected. Results in the App describe performance within the App only and must not be used as a medical, psychological or educational assessment.

7. Privacy

How personal data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes and contact
