How it works

Short games, real thinking

Not lessons, not tests: games that each carry a real mental task and last a few minutes. Your child plays; TeoMind tunes the difficulty in the background and gives you a clear, honest summary.

1

Teo explains

At the start of every game Teo says the task out loud and shows the goal. The “Say it again” button repeats it anytime, so children who can’t read yet can play on their own.

2

Your child plays

Tap, drag, trace, listen: games of two to three minutes. A gentle buzz and a cheer for a right answer, “So close — look again” for a wrong one. No shaming, no leaderboards.

3

Difficulty adapts

Each skill has its own level from 1 to 10. Levels change gradually with recent rounds: one mistake never knocks a child back, one lucky guess never pushes them up.

12 worlds, 117 games

Every world is a family of skills

From attention to memory, from sound to logic: each world has its own colours, character and games, all built around one way of thinking. Some games unlock with age.

A new adventure every day

Today’s Thinking Adventure

A journey of about seven minutes, with games picked from different skill families every day. Less like homework, more like a short adventure.

  • A balanced mixThe planner mixes the areas with the most room to grow with the child’s strengths, and never serves the same game twice in a row.
  • Stars, medals, badgesA celebration after every game, a weekly mission path and a daily streak keep children coming back. Percentages and seconds are never shown to the child.
  • Let Teo pickFor a child who can’t decide, Teo picks a game. In Free Painting and the Music Studio there is no right or wrong — the creation itself is celebrated.
NewFree play

No rules, no score: just discovery

Two open-ended play spaces inspired by the Montessori approach. Children touch, move and try things out; every action answers with a lively sound and a little animation.

  • Teo’s KitchenFry an egg, cook menemen with tomatoes, toast bread, slice cucumber, pour tea from the Turkish teapot, then lay a breakfast plate and serve it to Teo.
  • Toy RoomShelve the toys or tidy them into the chest, play the toy piano, pop soap bubbles, let the balloon fly and throw the ball. The night light fills the room with stars.
  • At their own paceNo timer, no wrong answers, no points. Cause and effect, tidying and fine motor skills are practised naturally, inside the play.

Just as crisp on the big screen

TeoMind runs on iPad in portrait and landscape. Game boards use the whole screen, the home screen spreads into two columns, and every picture and button stays sharp.

The science

Designed with research in mind

TeoMind’s games and its adaptive difficulty were designed with reference to peer-reviewed research on executive functions, attention, spatial skills, working memory and game-based learning.

Executive functions

Working memory, inhibitory control and cognitive flexibility each have their own world and their own games.

Gradual challenge

As the research stresses, practice stays at a level that stretches a child without overwhelming them.

Honest limits

Gains in one game do not automatically transfer to general intelligence — so we make no IQ claims.

FAQ

Questions parents ask

Anything else on your mind? Write to info@teomind.app.

What is free play?

Teo’s Kitchen and the Toy Room are open-ended play spaces with no right or wrong. Children make breakfast, tidy toys and try everything at their own pace; at the end the work is celebrated instead of scored.

What ages is TeoMind for?

TeoMind is played from age 6 to 14 and up, in five age groups: 6–7, 8–9, 10–11, 12–13 and 14+. The age group chosen at first launch sets where the games start; some games open by age group, and the difficulty adapts to the child’s pace.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. All games, sounds and reports run on the device. The internet is only needed for purchases, restoring and optional iCloud sync.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone and iPad with iOS / iPadOS 26.5 or later. On iPad it works in portrait and landscape, and the games use the whole screen.

Is any data collected from my child?

No. There are no ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics. Progress stays on your device and, if you like, in your own iCloud account; we can’t see it. See our privacy policy for details.

Is this an IQ test?

No. TeoMind is not an IQ test, a clinical assessment or a diagnostic tool. Reports only show how your child is doing on TeoMind’s own tasks.

How do I keep an eye on screen time?

The daily adventure takes about seven minutes. The Parent Area shows play time for today, this week and overall, and you can also use iOS Screen Time.

How do I unlock Premium on another device?

Using the same Apple ID, go to Parent Area › Settings › “Restore purchases”.

Which languages are available?

The interface and Teo’s voice are in English, Turkish and German. Change the language in Parent Area › Settings.

Teo is ready for the adventure.
